Some things to note in this photo:

The "required" Fire Extinguisher. These cars were made before on-board fire
systems were. So any models you see with the huge "fire bottles" must be models
of vintage racers, eh?

Scale treads on the tires. We've an ancient, pre-"slicks" Goodyear tire here,
which we used to measure these off of.

The "front steer" Ackerman Steering, engineered to help your car "turn in"; not
drag its wheels sideways through turns!
